Dr. Srdjan Cvetković was born in 1972, in Topli Dol (Pirot). He completed primary and secondary school education in Dolovo and Pančevo, and his undergraduate university studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. He graduated in 2000 at the Department for the History of Yugoslavia with a thesis entitled Etničke promene u Pančevačkom srezu 1944-1953 (Ethnic Changes in the District of Pančevo 1944-1953). Under the mentorship of Professor Ljubodrag Dimić, he completed his Master of Philosophy studies with a thesis entitled Represija u Srbiji 1944-1953 (Repression in Serbia 1944-1953). From 2006 he is employed with the Institute for Contemporary History in Belgrade as a Research Associate.
